If the quadratic kx^2−14x+1 is a perfect square polynomial, what is the value of k

Because of the 1 at the end it has to be half of the middle coefficient of the middle term, and then squared
that is, k = 49

check:
49x^2 - 14x + 1
= (7x-1)(7x-1)
=(7x-1)^2
