Oh, if you meant c is circumference, then good. Basically, 2 pi r = circumeference
so, 2 pi r = 44
so, pi r = 22
so r = 22/pi
that is your answer, roughly 7.
(that is because pi is roughly 22/7, so 22/(22/7) = 7/22 * 22 = 7. But since pi is not exactly 7, it is a bit off, by about 3 thousandths to be exact)

Ms. Sue
C = circumference
C = pi * d
44 = 3.14 * d
44/3.14 = d
14.013 = d
C = pi * d
44 = 3.14 * d
44/3.14 = d
14.013 = d
