Im having a hard time starting my introduction for my essay.
I already wrote my thesis statement which is: " In Nathaniel Hawthorne’s, The Scarlet Letter, it suggests that one must find their own internal strength and strive for individual redemption by applying the beliefs of transcendentalism and individualism to one’s own life."
how can i start my intro by making it catchy and interesting to read.
i want my thesis statement to be the last sentence of my intro.
any ideas?
thank you !

Have you written the body of the paper? What examples from the book have you used to prove your thesis?
Wait until you're finished with the entire essay before you worry about starting your introduction.
