Two cards are drawn from a standard deck of cards. Find the probability that a king or a red card is drawn.
Work: 4/52 + 26/52=30/52 or 15/26

not quite,
4/52 is the probability of drawing a king, which includes the 2 red kings
26/52 is the prob. of drawing a red card, which includes the two red kings, which you already accounted for
so 4/52 + 26/52 - 2/52 = 28/52 = 7/13
I am using the formula:
Prob(A OR B) = Prob(A) + Prob(B) - Prob(A AND B)
