Under what conditions will the statement sin(angle1 + angle2) = sin (angle1) + sin (angle2) be true?

only if at least one of the angles is a multiple of 2pi
because
sin(x+2pi) = sinx cos2pi + cosx sin 2pi = sinx
because
sin(x+2pi) = sinx cos2pi + cosx sin 2pi = sinx
