Algae is 5 yrs younger than berenice. Tomas is 7 yrs older than berenice. The sum of ages of the three togather is 83' , how old is each?

So i did berenice : x
Algae: x-5
Tomas: x+7
x+(x-5) + x+7 = 83
buthow old is each??

Good so far.

x+(x-5) + x+7 = 83

3x + 2 = 83

3x = 81

x = 81/3

x = 27
