how do u set up with problem

How would you prepare 165 mL of a 0.0317 m solution of benzoic acid (C7H6O2) in chloroform (CHCl3)?

Just follow the definition of molarity.
M = mols per L of solution

I am assuming the m is molarity. But if it is molality, then molality is mols per kilogram of solvent.
