15-(2x+7)=14
15 - 14 = 2x + 7

because how did you get a 1-7?
Answered by Ms. Sue
You need to get the knowns on one side of the equation and the unknowns on the other side.

15 - 14 = 1

I subtracted 7 from both sides of the equation.
