why do brand names are dold at a higher price ?

So for example even though we have two identical products , one with a brand name , and the other without , why will the brand name have a more chargable price ?

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. Brand names usually do more advertising and customers are more familiar with that name. Therefore they tend to buy something with which they are familiar.
