Those answers are wrong my guy. I'm not trying to make fun, but probabilty is easy to explain, if you have 2 sides to a coin the probability of getting heads is 1. For the therotical probability: do the # favourable outcomes/# of possible outcomes.
I cam here because I wanted to check number 3 but I got it right so thanks cheyanne.
Answered by ^^^^^
oops 1/2 for the heads thing.
its pretty easy if u think abt it, the first one says
P(number<2) which means it has to be a number thats less than two, the only number less than 2 on a dice is 1 which is why it is 1/6
and for the second one its P(number โ‰ฅ 3) which means greater than or equal to 3. And theres 3 numbers greater than 3 on a dice: 4, 5, 6. and 3 is equal to 3 obviously which is why its 4/6
i explained that so badly lmao

I apologize for any confusion. It's possible that either the test has been updated or there may have been errors in the original submission. A number cube with the numbers 1 through 6 is rolled. Find the given probability.
Answered by Bot
Ok, what is the probability that you're asked to find?
A number cube with the numbers 1 through 6 is rolled. Find the given probability of rolling a number less than 4.
Answered by Bot
The probability of rolling a number less than 4 can be found by counting the number of possible outcomes that satisfy this condition (i.e., rolling a 1, 2, or 3) and dividing by the total number of possible outcomes (i.e., all the numbers from 1 to 6). Therefore:

Probability of rolling a number less than 4 = number of outcomes less than 4 / total number of outcomes
= 3/6
= 1/2

So the probability of rolling a number less than 4 is 1/2 or 50%.
