In a recent survey of middle school students about pizza toppings, it was found that 25 students like pepperoni pizza, 31 like banana peppers pizza, and 5 liked both pepperoni and banana peppers on their pizza. If 65 students were surveyed, how many students do not like banana peppers on their pizza?

I get 34...

20 liked pepperoni only, 26 like banana peppers only. I got these numbers by subtracting the 5 that liked both

I have a total of 51 students that means there were 14 others that liked neither.

I added the 14 that liked neither with the 20 that liked pepperoni only.

This can be done by using a Venn Diagram with 2 circles that overlap.
