since x^3+2x^2-3x = x(x+3)(x-2), use partial fractions to get an equivalent:

3/(4(x-1)) - 2/(3x) - 1/(12(x+3))

That easily integrate into

3/4 log(x-1) - 2/3 log(x) - 1/12 log(x+3)

which you can massage as you will.
