x/40 = 7/10

10x = 280

x = 28 boys

40 - 28 = 12 girls

28 - 12 = ?

Answered by PsyDAG
That means for every 10 students, 7 will be boys and 3 will be girls. 40 = 4*10

Therefore 4 * 7 = ? boys and

4 * 3 = ? girls

Subtract girls from boys.
