The length of a rectangular garden is 4 m greater than the width. the area is 77m^2. find the dimensions of the garden.

W(w+4)=77
W^2 + 4w - 77 = 0
(W-7)(w+11)=0
W-7=0
W=7

W+11=0 gives neg. ans.

Length = 7+4=11
Width = 4
