You have 2 2/3 cups of dried fruit to divide evenly among 3 children. How many cups of fruit will each child receive? what do I do??

2 2/3 = 8/3

8/3 /3 = 8/9

each child gets 8/9 of a cup
(a cup minus a ninth of a cup)
