If a bullet was fired straight up at a speed of 30 m/s, what would be the total time for it to return to its starting point?

Tr = (V-Vo)/g = (0-30)/-9.8 = 3.06s. =
Rise time.
Tf = Tr = 3.06 s. = Fall time.

T = Tr + Tf = 3.06 + 3.06 = 6.12 s,
