Cheiko bottles 4 1/8 quarts of root beer. Then she bottles another 5 7/8 quarts of root beer. How many 1-cup servings of root beer does she have?
Please show me the problem, i am not getting this at all.

First, add 4 1/8 + 5 7/8

Since there are 4 cups in a quart, you'll need to multiply the sum by 4.

So, 4 1/8+ 5 7/8= 9 8/8. Do i add a whole number to the 9? and then multiply by 4?
