In my science lab we tested anaerobic vs aerobic respiration. for the anaerobic we covered the test tubes with a plastic film. what is the term for that?

I'm not really sure what that is,
but basically in our lab we just had like yeast, water, and baking soda. Then some of the test tubes we covered with a thin plastic film. It was stretchy and i'm trying to write my lab report so i'm trying to get the right word...
