Express 18 million in scientific notation.
I answered 1.8 x 10 to the 7th and was wrong. I don't understand why? You are supposed to move the decimal 7 places to get 18 million. What did I do wrong? Thank You.

1.8*10^7 is correct. In engineering notation, 18*10^6
