a gallon of paint will cover about 350 square feet of space. You are painting 3 halls of a school. Ignoring the doors, the halls are 10 feet tall and 125 feet long. You buy 11 gallons of paint. Did you buy enough of paint?

10 * 125 * 3 = 3,750 square feet

3,750 / 350 = 10.71 gallons
