How do you solve for x?

first off, factor out that pesky 29:

14.8*29 (cos27.8° cosx + sin27.8° sinx) = 22
429.2 cos(27.8°-x) = 22
cos(27.8°-x) = 22/429.2 = 0.051258
27.8°-x = 87.1°
x = -59.3°
