After 3.5 hours, Pedro had travel 217 miles. If he travels at a constant speed, how far will he have traveled after 5 hours?

217 / 3.5 = 62 mph

5 * 62 = 310 miles

Use a proportion and solve for x.

3.5/217 = 5/x

3.5x = 1085

x = 310 miles
