A jet makes a landing traveling due east with a speed of 100 m/s. If the jet comes to rest in 15.0 s, what is the magnitude and direction of its average acceleration?

due west or due east?


How can I solve this question? You don't have to give me the answer but how you derive to that would be perfect. thanks

v=0
v₀= at
a= v₀/t=100/15=6.67 m/s² (due East)
