The area of trapezium is 60cmsq. The two parllelogram sides are 16cm nd 24cm.find the distnce btwn the 2 parlelogrm sides.
Ans is 3cm

area = (1/2) (a+b)h , where a and b are the parallel sides and h is the distance between them

60 = (1/2)(16+24)h
60 = 20h
h = 3
