Wat do you need to do with that equation?

You need to find out what's x and what's y.

well, I would add 5 to both sides
3 x + 12 = y
or if you want x, subtract 7 from both sides first
3 x = y - 12
then divide all terms on both sides by 3
x = (y/3) - 4
3 x + 12 = y
or if you want x, subtract 7 from both sides first
3 x = y - 12
then divide all terms on both sides by 3
x = (y/3) - 4
