Calculate the average age of people that live in your house. How would the average change if a 90 year old grandmother lived with you? The ages of the people who live with me are 1, 7, 27, 32, 49 and my age 9. But I do not know how to show my work.

Add up the ages of the people in your home. Divide the sum by 6. That will give you the average age.

Then add 90 to the sum and divide by 7. What is this average?
