How much ethanol C2H50H in liters d=0.789g/ml must be dissolved in water to produce 190.5 of 1.65M c2H50H ? Molarity problem. Who helps me to solve it for me.
My calculation
0.789g/ml x 1000ml/46.06 = 17.12M
17.12M = 190.5 x 1.65
17.12M = 314.325
x= 314.325/17.12
x = 18.36ML I am not sure the answer.

Is that 190.5 mL? I assume mL and not grams.
I agree with the answer you have but not with all of the steps; e.g., 17.12 is not equal to 190.5 x 1.65.
mols EtOH needed = 1.65 x 0.1905 = 314.325.
314.325 x 46.06 = 14.48 g EtOH.
volume = mass/density = 14.4778/0.789 = 18.349 which I would round to 18.4 mL.
