got 22 degrees celsius for the last answer from Damon. Another question is ......How much heat is needed to raise the temperature of a 500g object with specific heat capacity 0.5 cal/g c by 25 degrees?

Q = C * mass * increase in temp

Q = .5 cal/g deg * 500 g * 25 deg
