How do I put this parabola in standard form? Could someone show how they would put it in this form: (x - h)2 = 4p(y - k)


1. 4x^2+24x+128y-988=0

Please help! I'm lost.

4(x^2 + 6x) = 988 - 128y
x^2 + 6x + 9 = 256 - 32y
(x - -3)^2 = -4*8(y-8)
