did you notice y = x^2 + 2x+1 = (x+1)^2
then since we need y^2 in the formula below
y^2 = (x+1)^4
Vol = π∫(x+1)^4 - (2x+5)^2 dx from -2 to 2
= π [ (1/5)(x+1)^5 - (1/6)(2x+5)^3 ] from -2 to 2
= π [243/5 - 729/6 - (-1/5 - 1/6) )
= you can do the arithmetic
