A 20 N object displaces 2,000 mL of water. What is the buoyancy? Hint: 1 mL of water = 1 cm3 of water = 1 g of water (Remember to convert g to kg)

2000 mL = 2000 cm^3.

Mass = 2000cm^3 * 0.001kg/cm^3 = 2kg.

Buoyancy = mg = 2 * 9.8 = 19.6 N.
