Can you please help express the concept below? Thank you, Writeacher.

I was last proud of myself when I got an A in maths/when I got a 7 and a half (according to the Italian grade system) in maths.

I would write the score in one of these ways:

7.5
or
7½

I wouldn't mix a numeral (7) with a written number (half).

Otherwise, everything's fine.
