A bag of 12 white marbles and 1/3 red marbles and 2/5 blue marbles what is the total marbles in the bag?

well, the fraction of white is 1-red-blue

= 1-2/5-1/3=15/15-6/15 - 5/15= (15-11)/15=4/15

but 4/15 N=12 or

N= 12*15/4=45 marbles
