A. "cancelled"? Surely your instructor did not use that word. If an electric field is opposed, then the two electric fields may add to zero. So lesser minds may call that canceling.

c. Electric fields indeed stores electric energy, as do magnetic fields.

e. I have no idea what altered space is, I am not into new age metaphysics. Electric fields are in fact surrounding electric charge.
