-4(x) + 3 < -3(x) + 5
-x + 3 - 3 < 5-3
-x/-x < 2/-x
x>-2

slip-up near the end,

from:
-x + 3 - 3 < 5-3
-x < 2
now divide by -1, not -x

x > -2
