The Longhorns punted the ball from the 5-yard line. The punt was caught at the 41-yard line and returned to the 19-yard line. The ball did not cross the 50-yard line. What was the net yardage on the play?

starting from the line of scrimmage, we have

(41-5) - (41-19)
= 19-5
= 14 yards
