“Would you like to go for a motorbike ride uphill?”, he said to me. 2) “Shall I phone Mary for you?,” said Bill. 3) “If I were you, I’d leave tomorrow morning,” he said.

Is the position of the commmas correct?

When you have a question mark or an exclamation mark INSIDE the quotation marks, no commas are needed for direct speech.
