A car cost $65 per day to rent plus $.35 per mile. Joe rents car for 1 day and drives 115 miles. what is the equation and the solution.
The solution is pretty simple $65 + .35x115 = 105.25

My only guess would be since the $65 and $0.35 are set amounts, and the miles can change your equation would be something along the lines of $65 + $0.35 x A = B

Edit $65 + ($0.35 x A) = B [[you don't want to add 65 to .35]]
