( x² - 3x + 2) / ( x² + x + 4 )

just plug in the good old quotient rule:

[(2x-3)(x^2+x+4) - (x^2-3x+2)[(2x+1)]/(x^2+x+4)^2

= 2(2x^2+2x-7)/(x^2+x+4)^2
