If m and n are positive integers and m is 250% of n, what percent of m is 2n?

Answer 1

m = 2.5n
2m = 5n
n = (2/5)m
2n = (4/5)m
4/5 = .8 = 80%

e.g.

let n = 10, then m = 25

then 2n = 20
percentage of 25 is 20 --> 20/25 = .8 = 80%
