original:
width --- x
length -- 2x+1
new rectangle:
width = x+7
length = 2x+1 + 7 = 2x+8
2(x+7) + 2(2x+8) = 122
6x + 30 = 122
6x=92
x = 92/6 = 46/3 = 15 1/3 feet
new rectangle:
width = x+7 = 46/3 + 7 = 67/3
length = 2x+8 = 116/3
check: 2(67/3) + 2(116/3) = 366/3 = 122
