The length of a rectangle is 3 meters more than its width.If the area is 108 sqaure meters What are the length and width?

Width = w
Length = w + 3

w(w+3)= 108sf

I just plugged #'s into "w" until I found the one that fit.

w = 9ft
L = w+3 = 12ft
