A wooden cube of side 10cm has mass 700g.What part of it remains above the water surface while floating?

Vc = (10cm)^3 = 1000 cm^3.=Vol. of cube

Dc = 700g / 1000cm^3 = 0.7 g/cm^3. =
Density of cube.

ha = h-(Dc/Dw)*hc,
ha = 10 - (0.7/1)10 = 3 cm. = Ht. above
water.
