room size i s 10ft x 15ft. i want to put tile down and the tile size is 3 inches in all sides. How many tiles do I need?

Convert areas into square inches.

144(10*15)/9 = ?

10×12=120÷3=40
15×12=180÷3=60
40×60=2400

Convert feet to inches then divide by size tile
Answer is 2400 tiles needed.
