an originally stationary car with a mass of 1500 kg reaches a velocity of 15 m/sec 5 sec after starting. what is the cars acceleration? how much force was required to reach this acceleration?

a = (Vf-Vo)/t,
a = (15-0) / 5 = 3 m/s^2.

F = ma = 1500 * 3 = 4500 N.
