There is probably a really obvious answer to this but could you help please?

In his lifetime a man produces many millions of spem cells and yet he is most unlikely to have more than ten children. Suggest a biological advantage of producing such vast numbers of sperm

Since most will die before reaching the Fallopian tubes to fertilize the egg, it helps to insure fertilization and continuation of the species.
