                can someone check this i'm really lost i thought i had it and now i don't think i do. Solve the system by graphing x+y=3,x+y=-1
x+y=-1
x-x+y=-1-x
y=-1-x
y=-1-(3-y)
y=-4y
x=3-(4y)
x=-1

        x+y=-1
x-x+y=-1-x
y=-1-x

    On the step where you say y=-4y is where the problem is. Re-check that part and do it again. Everything else seems right except that you are not doing what the problem is trying to tell you to do. You are supposed to solve by graphing, but here, you are doing substitution.
