HClO4 is a strong acid; therefore, (H^+) = (HClO4)
pH = -log(H^+)
pH = -log(H^+)

Because HClO4 is a strong acid it completely ionizes meaning the concentration of H+ ions is 2.8 M. To find the pH you take the -log(H+). -log*2.8= -.447.
