how do you find a quadratic equation if you are given the solutions such as x=2/3 and x=-4 can you work out the solution of how you got your answer please

Multiply both sides of the first equation by 3, then subtract 2.

3x - 2 = 0

Add 4 to both sides of second equation.

x + 4 = 0
