Are you sure it is not a typo?

Anyway if it is for real, solve with quadratic

x = [ 8 +/- sqrt (64 -12) ]/2

= [8 + sqrt(52) ]/2

= [ 8 +/- 2 sqrt(13) ]/2

= 4 + sqrt 13
or
= 4 - sqrt 13

so
[ x - (4+sqrt 13)] [ x - (4-sqrt 13) ]
